Default Hello Everyone!!

This is a pretty nice forum!! I've learnt alot from past posts in the last couple days. I have an 03' Monte SS. Not too many mods as of yet - I need to replace rear struts, looking at lowering the car while I have it all apart. Looking at eventually doing an engine swap to a supercharged... planning on adding headers and exhaust within the next couple months.

Welcome to MCF BJ!!!

What size engine are you running now? If you already have a 3800, it might be a better idea just to drop a turbo on instead for about 3 grand. You will need to upgrade the transmission anyway so you don't blow it out.

04 Intimidator....I do have the 3800 Series II. I thought about the tubo... I can get a supercharged 3800 Series III with the tranny for about $2800.00. This is not going to happen anytime soon.. I have time to research both options. Right now, I'm trying to figure out the suspension.. this car is supposed to have the "handling package" - no one can tell me what that means? I'm looking to go with KYB struts and a set of Eibach springs. I cannot find a part number for the struts and have read numerous posts of people talking about "pogo" in reference to the springs. This all has me a bit confused!!!![>:][>:]

The $2800 deal sounds a great way to go. It won't be able to maximize your horsepower like a turbo can, but it is a great upgrade and the upgraded HD tranny is definately worth it.

Intimidator..
Just kinda tossing things around right now. Its sounds like a great deal, considering it includes the tranny and computer. By any chance are you familiar with struts and springs?

The handling package was probably a more aggressive sway bar, and then trac control if you had that on the car. (there'll be a button for it) I don't think it was anything more than that, but they may have gone with struts/springs with a more aggressive springrate or more dampening stages.
