Default Hello from BC Canada!

Hey there! I just inherited my grandma's 1980 Monte Carlo. She's the original owner and it's always been part of the family.

I'm planning to just clean it, repair the few minor issues it has, and keep it in stock condition to run during the summer.

I joined the forum because I'm having a hard time tracking down information on this car. I'd love to see if there's any archives for original brochures, model information, VIN decoding and the like.

If anyone could link me to some info it would be greatly appreciated!

Welcome! And awesome Monte! I believe the 3rd gens are tough to find in any reasonable condition. Yours comes with a cool history! Very awesome!

Thank you! Yes for sure, especially up here. You used to see them running around town often but for the past 10 years or so they seem to have all rusted up or worn out.
