Default Hello

I'm 53 and have been driving my 2001 Monte Carlo SS for 18 years. It has been a reliable and trustworthy car and has gone 325,000 miles with me, mostly everyday commutes of 70+ miles. The largest expense I've had for it is to replace the transmission with a remanufactured transmission. Recently, it was rearended and I am unable to drive it any longer. I can either sell it to the junkyard or see if anyone here is interested in having it for a parts car. At the time it was hit it was still my daily driver. I'm glad to know there are so many folks dedicated to these cars, I hate the thought of mine going to the junkyard. Forgot to mention the car is driveable, no wrecker necessary, and it is in North Carolina 30minutes southeast of Raleigh, and thanks for the reminder drivernumber3.

Thanks for letting me join the forum,
Paula

Welcome to the MCForum if you can you might want to include the State you live in that way anyone from that location would be nearby.
Wow that's a bunch of miles. I had an Oldsmobile 1989 that I ran up too 395K back in the day I hated to get rid of it because the gas mileage on it was over 35MPG and it was needing a new PCM so I put out to rest.
