New to me 01 SS in Kentucky
Bought her yesterday, joined here today.
Been browsing, and have learned a lot already. To be honest, when I first drove it, I didn't believe that it could be a 6 cyl. Its as peopy and quick as my last V8 Mercury Cougar.
I fell in live in two miles. Went back, paid in full and drove home. 230+k miles and still runs perfect. No leaks, smoke or unexplained sounds. Of course there's the standard draw backs associated with this car, the signals, the overdrive solenoid and the starlight sensors are bad. All in all I frickin love this car. I'm a Ford man, well, I was. Now I'm all about the damn Monte!
Cant wait to learn more from y'all here, and look forward to getting to know some or all of ya?

Hello BluGrass and welcome to the MCF!
I agree with you, these cars handle so well, thin ha is why I kept mine prior to building on it. Long, low slung wide body car. Corners so well.
