Hello
I'm TwoBob. I've been lurking around the forums for the past few weeks and finally decided to join. You all seem like a nice bunch. I've driven nothing but Mustangs, Thunderbirds, and an old 57 Ford. Im surprised how much I'm enjoying my 05 Monte Carlo LT. It's nice, elegant and quick. Definitely a step up from any of the Mustangs I've owned (04 + 08 6 shooters). At any rate, its nice being on a forum with a lot of kind people.
Hi TwoBob and welcome to the forum!!!
How long have you had your Monte?
How many miles? color?
Where you from?
Wow, nosey thing aren't I? hahahaha

Have you been on here for a while?
My LT is pretty quick. Not fast, but quick (from what I'm used to). Even though I'm used to driving manual, RWD cars with a lot of torque, the LT suprises me when I go WOT. My other Mustangs were quick off the line, but the LT is great from a roll. Plus, my racing days are behind me, which is why the Monte Carlo is perfect for me at this stage in my life. It looks great, has a reliable engine that is powerful enough to be safe, and seats five people (planning on having a baby soon). Although, I do plan on supercharging, eventually. Realistically, next two mods will probably be exhaust and/or gears.
Thank you. I appreciate the warm welcomes.
I'm glad I made the switch, too. Before I bought the MC, I was thinking about getting another Mustang. But after seeing the driving habits and attitudes of most of the pony car 'drivers' here, I decided to go with something more elegant and mature
I was sold after researching the 3800 Series II motor. Plenty quick enough for me.
