I'm Amanda, Devin's(MnteCrloSS47) girlfriend. He's been bugging me to sign up for awhile now since I've been lurking and I've already met several people here. I just bought a 2008 Impala SS a couple months ago after not being able to find a decent Monte in the area; I think Devin has already posted pictures somewhere. I love my car, but I'm a Monte girl at heart

The Impala's are nice rides (almost like a 4 door Monte). There is a lot about the Monte and the Impala that actually are the same.

Welcome to the forum, and I agree with you maniac that impala's are almost the same as a monte carlo. Few years back mom got an 2002 impala ls from my great aunt, was my great uncles but he passed. It was a sweet car, sadly it got t-boned and totaled. When my car went down and I was looking for another one I wanted one with the 3800 series 2 or series 3, and ended up finding the monte carlo. And this car is so much like the impala, minus 2 doors.
