harmonic balancer wobble!!!!

Default harmonic balancer wobble!!!!

hey i need help on some info in dropping the front subframe in the yard... the balancer is wobbling pretty bad....any help is greatly appreciated

Normally a Harmonic balancer does not go bad. Was it removed maybe and then not re-installed correctly?

Default Balancer

Balancer on the 06 and 07s seem to b a regular issue

Wow, Ok! It must be Hydroluc then. Or maybe my info, from Old school cars doesn't apply. Still seems odd to me. Hope someone who knows more than I chimes in to help you. Good luck!

not sure what year monte you have or engine size you have but if its a 00-05 monte ss with the 3800 engine you dont have to drop the cradle to pull the harmonic balancer.

Default its fixed

yeah its a 06 with the 5.3 u have to drop the cradle...i did it the other day it wasnt that hard

Agreed, not that hard to do.Under 2hr job with some wrenching skills.

yeah I had my balancer replaced on my 06 ss by a Cadillac dealership lol they ran up in me ..even with a warranty paid $400 out of pocket smh ....
