2002 MC ls auto 3.4 harmonic balancer
207,000 miles
can anyone tell me if there is any tips or tricks to replacing the harmonic balancer on this car? outside of the starter to loosen the bolt. any special tools other than the puller and installer.. anything like a torque wrench i have never done one before .. done most everything else yet never had to deal with this before
i am helping a friend who just had a baby born with multiple rare congenital defects had heart surgery at 10 days old
she has no money and i want to help but if i need more than back yard mechanics tools i would sooner send her to my garage as she cant afford to be left sitting on the road with a downed car and this infant.. she already has enough troubles.
also i will be posting a few more posts on radiator and trac issues and p codes. one i got rid of but it is returns i want to know where to go from here.. thanks in advance.. running out of summer and i will be starting this stuff next week when the parts come in

no didn't bump anything but the HB had been tearing apart for over 2 years went an got a CPS for 35.00 at AZ and removed the HB and replaced the CPS and she fired up instantly.. just double the work so much for that done deal.. now to work on the radiator issue and rear brakes new thread going up on electrical if anyone cares to help figure this one out... I will be glad when this car is buttoned up for the winter .. she is finally bringing the baby home tomorrow so the next visit i need to be able to resolve any left over issues including what appear to be shorts in the gauges,..
