You can use regular coolant but you need to flush the system well to get all of the Dexcool out. I'm running regular coolant in my 03 SS. It also looks like you car came with an engine block heater but I'm not sure on the wattage.

Hi AwesomeSS,

I found Dex-Cool from Opel Dealer here, I will hopefully flush cooling system this weekend and use Dex-Cool :-)

Some more questions...

Is Powerstop good quality brand?

I am looking at this kit:

POWER STOP K1544

Also, I am looking at Strut / Coil Spring / Mount Assembly.

Is Gabriel good quality brand?

My car is equipped with 17" wheels and 235/55/17 tires.

Is rear struts for 17" wheels different from struts for 16" wheels?

I am looking at these rear strut assemblies but they said:

Rear Left/Right; Except Models w/17" or 18" Wheels

GABRIEL G56924

GABRIEL G56925

They do not said anything about front struts.

Thank you for sharing your experience,
Ivo
