I am a diehart chevy man.I learned to drive on a 1954 chevy belair.My Dad was a chevy man and my 2000 monte is chevy number six for me.I purchase my monte in January 2000,and very few were on the road.That car was turning heads left and right.After 14 yrs. and periodally maintance,she's still on the road!

I was raised and learned to drive in a 1958 Anniversary model Impala. (348 tri-power) Stock from the factory..it was the pace car for the indy 500 that year.
So I too am a diehard chevy person... I scraped my first knuckle on that 58..lol My dad,uncle and the rest of the family were/are all mechanics as well.

I too bought my 1999 new.. But I factory ordered it in 1997, and received it in 1998..It was the 1st 1999 Monte Carlo Z-34 in Michigan.

So, I'm right there with you as the "Original" owner group!

First, this is a very old thread. It is best to start a new thread. Second, what is a "Duffy 35". When I googled it, this is some kinda boat. If so, I think you are on the wrong forum for boat assistance. This entire site is about the car, the Chevy Monte Carlo.
