Curt Allen 49 racer
I race at a asphalt 1/2 mile track that David Pearson Earnhardt and a lot of other greats they are track champions I'm not just starting.IM looking for some one to tell me how I can get my 2001 Monte Carlo to handle and mostly go faster they don't inspect that good but could use a few good interchangeable parts I can use on my 3800 SS the headlight is gone so I get my air straight from a pipe to the throttle
Body but I have some bigger injectors that came of the v8 cadi and is there an intake different then the 3800 series 2 also what can I do to the engine or transmission to get more speed

Welcome to the forum!
One of the best threads you can read about performance mods is the link below:

I haven't seen a (more-or-less) stock Monte Carlo used in this capacity. My local track does not have a FWD division. And other FWD race cars I've seen are smaller.
I hope your winning out there and doing the Monte Carlo legacy well! That is a great looking paint scheme you got there and I'm sure I'm not just speaking for myself when I say I'd love to see more pics. Especially action shots if you've got 'em...

Curt:
Welcome to the forum and all things Monte Carlo!
What is the division called that your running in with the front wheel drive class?
Years ago..
I started out in a street stock class and moved up to Super Late Models.
All rear wheel drive of course..
Unfortunately, I don't have any front wheel drive racing experience.
But I do know at our local tracks they have front wheel drive train races.
I'm sure Jason (Maniac) can help you out in the power/Speed part.
Be sure to post more pictures of your Race Car!
