I posted some info on nearly impossible to find small parts and got the third degree by someone. Sickening that a guy is trying to help and gets interrogated. Whoever "The Maniac" is (user ID), you have left me with a bad taste for this forum as a 2nd time poster.

 

I am sorry that my asking for clarification about your thread apparently offended you so much to make a thread specifically about me.

 

Asking if i was looking for the part or advertising an ebay listing was unnecessary and frankly none of your business, unless you are the moderator, and you may be, I dont know why one would reply asking if I was advertising? Maybe you had no intent to come off as interrogating, but it is what it is.

 

- First, there should be nothing wrong with ANYONE inquiring for clarity of your post. This is a public forum. Even if your post was advertising that eBay listing, no one ever said there was a problem with it (because their isn't).
- Second, I am one of two site admins for MonteCarloForum.com (and we also have a couple moderators).

I really don't understand why you are so offended at anyone asking for clarity to what you were posting. I don't see anything wrong with Jason's response to you in the other thread. It looks like he was just trying to get some clarity on whether you were looking for that part, or just letting the forum know of a place where someone is making them.

You clarified, he thanked you. Overall it looks like a fine exchange on the forum. I agree, if you want to take this off the public forum and PM Jason or myself, please do. Everything looked good on my end!
