Default ABS Light and Traction Control...

Whene i bought the car someone had unhookd the ABS mod. up under the hood i think thats what it is anyway. its that big plug in at that aluminum block with the, it looks like brake lines comeing out of it. anyway its got to pull like slid to the side to unlock then unplug. but the light is on and i wonderd if that was why the light was on because it was unpluged but i plugd it back in and it is still on. and the traction control light is on i push the button down there buy the shifter and it still wont go out and now my check engine light is on i have a CAN OBD1 AND 2 comp. and i cut the light off and ofcourse it come back on it had a code PO410 secondary air injection. i guess that may have something to do with the air intake or something maybe, maybe a sensor or somthing. i need help solving this problem thanks...

The ABS / Trac Off is usually the fault of a wheel hub assembly / the connectors for them. The connectors can get dirty and cause that, you can clean and put back together. The wheel hub assembly could also just have a broken sensor, unfortunately they are sealed units, so the whole thing would need a replacement.

The P0410 code is your secondary air pump on the rear of the engine, that not all 3800 motors seem to have. It's sole purpose is to pump air into the cat to heat it up faster for emissions reasons. It really won't affect your drive-ability. But the light can be bothersome, I'm not sure what the problem could be, aside from a broken or disconnected hose? It should have a hose that goes into the rear exhaust manifold.

My monte just had those 2 lights come on & it was just that the wire that is connected to the hub assembly fell off the clip & was rubbing against the axle. When I put it back on the clip it was back to normal. Soo it could be as easy as that as well.
