Talking 80 monte paint

been doing the bodywork on my 80 monte lately
paint is stripped (mostly)
3 cans of bondo later; fenderwork is coming along...still cant figure what could have vertically dented the hood
#don't use any body filler but bondo
the off brands dont sand well
will pst pictures with progress
btw: 80 monte (in my opinion) is the best looking car of its era

welcome to the forum.

oh and if were talking 3rd gens im going to say 79 might be the best looking. out of all the a/g bodies than id say the best looking would probably be 78-80 malibu, then the 79 monte, grand am, and then the grand prix. if were talking just in general i always thought the aspen rt or mercury capris were pretty tough looking. this is just my opinion though im an 80s baby and always had a thing for the post muscle car era cars.

79 might be better but quad lights are safer
(my father passed this car on to me so i had no say)
bodylines are nice though

the montes body lines are very sharp. the quad lights just look a little to modern for me.
