Hello, I have 1973 Monte with a stock 454. 50,000 original miles, I'm the second owner. Has anyone on here ever removed the air pump from this motor,? I'm thinking of doing it, is it a bad idea. Do I have to do a lot of modifying so as not to harm the engine or exhaust valves?
