Hi everyone! I'm Jana Marroletti and I have owned a yellow with black stripes 2003 Chevy Monte Carlo LS since March of 2007. I first fell in love with Monte Carlo's in 1973 when my Aunt bought one and she let me drive it and I said to myself one day I would have one too. The year I turned 50 I finally bought my own and it has been a joy to drive it. I am very into the mechanics side of what makes my car run, actually used to hang out at my mechanic's shop years before I got this one just to watch him work and learn about the parts, where they are and what they do.(We were good friends.) Now he has a girlfriend who loses her mind about our relationship so I suggested we part ways. So I am very happy to find this forum to learn more about my car, and perhaps be able to save some money on things I can learn to do myself with the help of my son.

 

Welcome to MCF, Jana! I used to have an '03 SS, until someone ran a red light and totaled it for me. Loved that car... Put up some pics of your ride when you can... You will find the members here very knowledgeable and willing to help whenever they can.

 

Welcome! I also used to have an '03 SS (mine was yellow too) until someone making an unprotected left-hand turn at an intersection failed to yield to oncoming traffic (me). That was a great car but I do love my 06 SS.

Welcome to the Monte Carlo forum. I never had a Yellow Monte.

But I did own a 1969 Daytona Yellow Chevelle SS396 back in the day.
