My name is Matt, I'm 24 and a recent college graduate. My interest in Monte Carlos started back in '95 when my Dad bought a 1972 Monte Carlo. I have owned two cars now, both being Sixth Generation Monte Carlos. I bought my first in 2005, a yellow 2003 Monte Carlo SS, that I had done some work to over the five years of owning it. Unfortunetly, that car was totalled in the Fall of '10 when some lady made an unprotected left turn in front of me at an intersection, resulting in a 45 mph head-on collision. When it came time to look for another car, I decided to look for another Monte. A few weeks after having my yellow Monte totalled I found and bought my current car, a black 2006 Monte Carlo SS, and I love it. The LS4 V8 was a big selling point and has not dissapointed, great car overall. I do have pictures posted of both my Montes. Anyway, looking forward to chatting and sharing with other Monte Carlo enthusiasts.

Welcome another Michigan member. we are slowly taking over around here. That building looks familiar in the pics of your black ss Where was it taken. Oh and that sucks about your 03 that looked like a nice car.

Yeah, the '03 was a great car and it was unfortunate what happened to it, and that it had to go that way, but I do love my '06 SS. The pic was taken south of the Ann Arbor area.
