My fiance is Lamar my mechanic also when we need him. We have just purchased a 2003 monte Carlo ss. We have never had new model cars. Although he is a Chevy man. We have had all types of older model chevys'. Which he says of u know a Chevy them u can never go wrong.... He is now eating his words with our 2003 monte that needs help.

All things mechanical wear out regardless of the mfr. I also have an '03 Monte SS that needed some attention due to neglect by the previous owner(s). Let us know what the problems are and we will try to help.
