yah, there's a few things you can do to those cars, chris will know a lot about what you can do performance wise to your monte

 

There isn't much you can do to get serious power out of it. The 3.1 was designed to be an economical engine, not base platform for power. Your best bet would be to swap for a 3800 or 3800 Supercharged. You can get good info at www.l67swap.com

Don't bet me wrong, you can mod a 3.1, but $ for $ it isn't worth it compared to the swap.
