Removing rear side glass 1995-1999
Little help?
I'm fixing a water leak isolated to the drv side rear glass of a '97 MC.
I'm accessed as far as I can get inside and I see 4 small clips that don't look strong enough to hold the entire window assembly in place.
Can anyone tell me how I can remove the window including the outer trim?
Thanks!

RE: Removing rear side glass 1995-1999
most of the time you have to pull them from the inside. they are glued in place with some really nasty balck like caulk type crap. gets on everything.
but pull in the pannel and pop the clips out then pull the window out. the out side trim will etheir have clips holding it in place on the out side or it will have some small screws that hold it from the insode you should beabel to see them once you get in to it.
they are not to hard to get ready to pop out but make sure you do this on a day where it is real warm out so the glue is easier to pop out other wise it could break the glass. so wear gloves and some kind of eye protection and becareful
good idea to have help so that one can push from the out side and the other can give the glass support from the inside so you dont put your hands threw it.
good luck
