**Tune Up**
I have a 2005 Monte LS, I'm looking into giving it a tune up, you know the plugs, wires. Can someone assist me with what plugs/wires should I purchase, of course I'm wanting to keep whatever the current factory plugs/GM recommended inside the car but purchase new. Also a few helpful tips on tackling the job would help as well, I'm not a car moron so I know my way around the engine, so...

You would unbolt the front dog bone engine mounts and im not 100% where on the 3400, but on the front of the engine there is hook you can attach a ratchet strap to, tie it off somewhere and crank it down to give yourself some more room.

All these people talk about rocking the engine forward. I've never needed to on a non-SC 3800 and the 3400 is even easier. As long as you can do it by touch and feel, you are good to go, plenty of room on the 3400. If you need more room or be able to see what you are doing, two nuts and two bolts, you can flop the entire coil pack plate forward and out of the way.
AC Delcos and NGK plugs are your best bet (some AC Delcos are re-branded NGK, I've got some in my garage with both brandings on them). I've been using NGK platinums from RockAuto on the 3400s for a few years. No issues.

I personally have had great luck with the AC Delco in the new aridium plugs. They run great and very clean. They are about 7 bucks a peice so really do not break the bank. Let me know what you think if you give them a try
