Oh yeah, new here. On about three-four occasions, new comers have come in and won races, a fwe other times they pop in and run like top 3 for several weeks in a row....

 

Lol I'm the exception to the newcomer winning rule apparently. I still have yet to win one or lead a segment or the overall points. I knew it was gonna be a bad day for me when Jr's tranny went out. I figured something would happen to either Kahne or Biffle or both and sure enough that last wreck dropped the 16 way back.

I just I think it's been another crazy season & I do believe that the knowledge of seasoned veterans can help, but I believe it all comes down to LUCK...I believe in Racing & in Life..."It's not if you win or lose, it's how you race/play the Game" ~> B.S.

For last season's runner-up, I am trash this year.

 

Your star picks aren't running where they did last year... Harvick and Gordon are just strangely not running well. Harvick is miraculously in the top 10 in points, no one really knows how.

Ok here's my 2 cents.

Moved up 1 in the overall,and lost 1 spot in the 3rd segment. Hmmm.

anyway..were in new York on our way to Vermont. Missed the race..of course. Looks like things are amiss for today. To bad I dropped Gordon for biffle. And of course the 88 was due for some kind of failure..and for the 48 to take a hit..what a bummer! I'm doing this on my phone. So excuse my typeing lol...lets see what the glen brings..maybe I can make the race?.(doubtful). I will see if I can at least get my picks in for the glen....before it starts...

Hate to miss it with all the miss giveings and points changes..maybe another chance for me to move up some more in the overall.

I have been following the sport since I was a little kid, so even though it's my first season (since I haven't even been on MCF a year yet), me having followed the sport has given me a good idea of who to pick. Course your rundowns help tremendously as well. I know every now and then you wonder out loud if anyone reads them but I know I do and usually factor them in when I decide I need to go away from my norm (like when I dropped Harvick and started running with Kahne). But I'm real close with you in the standings (and we've swapped positions on multiple occasions) so that says something about your consistency, even though neither of us have a win this year.
