Anyone notice that these races are very very hard to win this year? I don't know what it is. I think no one is taking any risks and just playing it safe with the regulars. I gained 13 points on Brent so that was a good day.

 

I said before this race was over... my picking you is a guarantee that you will be in the top 5 with 30 to go. Martin was 6th and blew the engine. I am borderline depressed here. I was looking at a win, making a run at 2nd place and being in position to challenge for a segment win next week in Richmodn.... this is depressing....... Brent, pass me another beer.....

My winless streak... 13 months with no MCF Fantasy win. I did win the all star opener last year. But that was no points. I am desperate for a win. I'm more desperate than Rick Hendrick. I'm more desperate than Carl Edwards. I'm more desperate than Martin Truex Jr. I'm a desperate man right now. I can't wait for Richmond. I'm about to start the Richmond thread right now.




Remember two things. NExt week at Richmond is a SATURDAY NIGTH RACE!!!! Come early, pick early.

Second thing: Next week is the end of Segment 1. Brent has that 16 point lead nad is the favorite going in. But he swears off fo picking Toyotas, and the Joe Gibbs pair is solid at this track.

I am lucky! But unlucky too! I coulda, shoulda, would escaped that one almost able to sit the last race of the segment out! If Martin hadn't blown... that was just such a weird one because it wasn't on a restart or anything. I don't think Martin woulda been pushing it too hard. Anyways, I'm still gunning for another win next week! Hopefully Junior will sheer my head (and that stupid beard) at Richmond next week...

I feel bad for Duane! By the end I really wanted that one for him (which had nothing to do with the fact that a good finish for him meant a good finish for me)
