Harvick really let me down seeing as I picked Harrick/Newman/Srewart

 

I am glad they think this is a good race. I wouldn't go if they gave me free start finish line tix and transportation there. what a joke. Did you see the empty seats all over the place. They could have crammed everyone there on the inside nearly. They must have paid Chad Knaus to say ot was a packed house. Not even a spin out. What if the 32 hadnt stopped twice causing cautions. I fell asleep once watching. Glad they dont run here 2 times a year. Thay could drop this from the schedule and I could care less. Sorry for the rant. I just get tired of wasting my Sundays on this crap.

The overall points are slowly contracting... I think we're looking at a situation where anyone in the top 11 can consider themselves in championship contention.. I ahve said the last couple of years, if you're within 100 points halfway through the year until the Chase, you're in contention. Keane and I have had this thing under control for a while but one bad race for both of us, and we're going to have a lot of company at the top.

On to Pocono... that place isn't quite as boring as Indy, but it's up there.


I call this section of the season the "Summer Snoozefest" ( a play on TNT's "Summer Series", and this is why... there was more intensity with strategy, fuel mileage, and other stuff like that than there was for the race. If Timmy Hill wasn't having fuel issues, this race would have been really dull.....


I wonder if NASCAR should quit running Indy and move over to the Indianapolis Raceway Park? Graduated banking, hsort track excitement... the trucks and nationwide cars used to put on some great shows over there.
