Well if Allmendinger had not blown up.. had he just run top 20, i think I would have won. My heart just sank because I had all Fords and I was scared the rest of my team was going to start having issues too, since the whole Ford organization all run those same Roush-Yates engines. They almost had the car running again, for hwatever was wrong.... Allmendinger was back in the car, they fired it up for several seconds, then Allmendinger got out and stormed off. That's what you get for picking those long shots.. high risk, high reward. This time it was the risk.

But what a race it was!! We were rained on for all of 2 minutes, by the time I got my poncho on, it was over. Literally. We spent os much time preparing for rain that we didn't pack sunglasses or sunscreen. About 5-8 laps into the race, the sun broke out and kept getting brighter and brighter until it was a bright, sunny, Delaware afternoon.

Did Carl Edwards hit Clint Bowyer when they were both trying to run down and beat Jimmie? I couldn't tell if he hit him or it was one of those deals like he and Logano had in the Nationwide race.

I was hoping to see Edwards pull off a victory ,but my brothers man Kenseth got there instead. I'm sure he was pleased about that, both my brother and Matt Kenseth. Kenseth was good when it was cooler. He made it to 4th, and around lap 150, my picks were running 2-3-4 and all looked to be running down Jimmie. Then the sun broke out, Kenseth fell to about 10th, and Allmendinger had engine troubles.

And Jr. fans are really desparate for something to cheer about. They almost cheer for him when he overtakes a lapped car. He could be passing for 13th, and the fans go crazy. Then MRN say sthe fans are going crazy watching some battle for 4th between Ambrose and Vickers.... no, they're just excited that Junior is passing Kyle Busch for 10th, pal.

But I was happy with teh finish we got... much better than last year when Kyle Busch and Jimmie Johnson ran away with the last 125 laps under green.

I double checked 77GP's results... they are official. I've been last 2 weeks in a row now!!!

Add those to your point standings... overall, it looks like this:

Overall standings for the entire season:

A tie for the points lead, and it will stay this way until the 600!! Junior Car gets it since he has 3 wins now.

JuniorCar 1125 Leader
RocknSS 1125 -0
77GP 1102 -23
Cowboy6622 1099 -25
montecarlo3831 1084 -40
KidSpace 1027 -97
BocaReject 1009 -116
lougreen03 990 -135
zjerry 953 -172

When added to Darlington, Segment 2 looks a lot like this:

JuniorCar 215 Leader
montecarlo3831 215 -0
KidSpace 210 -5
RocknSS04 209 -6
zjerry 208 -7
BocaReject 201 -14
77GP 199 -16
lougreen03 198 -17
Cowboy6622 180 -35

A tie for the points lead and a tie for the segment!! However, JuniorCar wins both because of his wins. And I have finished last in both races since winning the Segment 1 championship!!! The overall points though... it seems to be tightening up some more, with Chris (montecarlo3831) closing the distance to the leaders ever so slightly.. I really expected it to expand out as the year went by, but it isn't really. Most of the guys falling back are because they missed a race!

And, the winner for both races in Segment 2 has acquired 113 points... in Segment 1, we were knocking out 120-130 ranges....

Stats thread updated.
