The Overall Points Standings...

RocknSS 1199
77GP 1197 -2
JuniorCar 1195 -4
Cowboy6622 1190 -9
montecarlo3831 1183 -16
KidSpace 1085 -114
lougreen03 1079 -120
BocaReject 1009 -190
zjerry 1004 -195

You would expect this thing to string out... yet for several weeks, the top 5 have been getting tighter and tighter!

I thought this was screwed up... it took awhile since I had not plugge dthe Dover numbers into my spreadsheets yet and from where I had 77GP handle this in my absense... I got it all squared away now though. File any disputes ASAP!

Amazing race.... I think a lot of us had some point in the last 200 miles where our guys were all running good.... yet all of us had a guy wh oran bad. Seems like 5 of you guys or so had Carl Edwards as your second pick. It was just an unpredictable race with Kevin Harvick doing what he does best... taking the lead coming to the line. How in the world... and I know Brent was jumping up and down as Junior took the white flag... that was a crazy finish, and one of the greatest 600's I've ever seen. They talked about the Ford's all night... yet the Ford's couldn't hold it together at the end. Actually, I guess ti was a Hendrick Chevrolet that couldn't keep ti all together and that just screwed up what little bit the Ford's had going for them.

Brent.... my mom wants to know if you were wearing white and jumping up and down as Jr. took the white flag... she spotted a guy in the stands at that point who was literally jumping and cheering. LOL! The guy was in Turn 2 sitting I believe next to someone wearing green.

Ironic too that a Coca~Cola bottle full of gasoline would have gotten Jr. to the finish line to win....

Thanks for all the updates Duane, the race was pretty good. I liked how 2 of Harvicks team mates were pushing him around to conserve fuel, Harvick has been in the right spot a couple times this year......I will continue to use my race strategy I've been using, it has worked pretty good so far.....

I missed the finish. Sounds like a fabulous race. I was sound asleep by 9:00 in my chair, and just went to bed. We had a wedding Saturday in Saginaw, and spent the night in a Comfort Suite. What a crappy stay! Bed was WAYYY to soft, Neither one of us slept. But we got home in time to get MOST of the yard mowed before the storm hit. So about 4:30 I tried to post my picks, but too late! Storm wouldn't let me post. I tried and tried, Finally, LadyT's droid phone got me in. Sorry about the crappy spelling. That's the 1st time I've ever used one. Hopefully the last!!!

Can't believe my guy Harvick won!!! I missed a wild finish. Poor JR. He just needs to go back to the Nationwide series. Maybe he can win there. Chad said what? OOPS!

It will probably be late this evening before I post up for Kansas. Congratulations to whoever got married, and congratulations for you for regaining the points lead!!!

I like what some of these go or go home guys put down as their reason for exiting the race. J.J. Yeley and the Red Line oil put down brakes.... yeah, better not say engine. The problem was, the brakes brought the car to a complete stop in front of the hauler. Joe Nemechek was a clutch.... yeah, he pushed it all the way in to take the car out of gear when rolling to a stop. Sometimes they just put down my favorite, "ignition"..... yeah, the driver clicked the switch off.

I did not get a chance to listen/watch the Race , but just checked `out the highlights on Nascar.com...
Did you enjoy the Race ? Did you think it was a good one ?
Below are a few of the vid's I watched to see what happened.
Congrat's to Harvick (Pushed to save gas ?) Wish Dale Jr had someone to push him 4 a Win : )
I noticed that all 4 automakers made the Top Four Positions in this Race : ) (Luck/Skill or both 2 win?)
Being in the right place @ the right time ?
