When I pick Jimmie for a 40th place finish (at Charlotte no less), I know the fates are against me. His car should have been red & white, not red, white & blue...

He has been so-so in the 600 miler in recent years though... he was the one who blew his engine that put us into overtime that year that Goonyer ran out of gas in turn 4.... you were there for that....

 

I remember like it was yesterday. Was the best moment of my life turned into the worst moment in a second. I never had such an emotional swing. I bet Jr remembers it too...

 

I had flashbacks of that year during the closing laps. When he first pitted, I didn't think he could make it.
