Peblo just won the Indy 500!!!

Believe it or not I was rooting for him!

We didn't even have an Indy 500 thread this year, so that shows how little anyone cares about Indy. But I always watch any ways. And honestly, that was the most exciting Indy 500 ever with lots of jockeying for position and plenty of pretty crazy wrecks. Peblo should be proud. I think it is further proof of how much harder it is to be a Sprint Cup driver than an Indy car driver, cuz Peblo sucked in NASCAR.

He should also be happy because now he will be awarded a real car. Kind of a funny story: The Indy 500 winner wins a nice car - almost always a new Corvette. But the year that Peblo won it before - in 2000 - they awarded the winner a... da-da-da-dumm... a new Oldsmobile Aurora! Sort of a hilarious trophy in its own right. Nobody else got to win one of those...

Penske owns that car too... and I believe Penske owned the Indy car the year Kurt Busch won the 600 and gthe all Star race in like 2010? So if BK or Joey can win tonight, Penkse can sweep the day.

Big year no matter waht for Penske... won Daytona, won Indy...
