Picks for Charlotte

Picks for Charlotte
Well guys, it's time for some Charlotte Motor Speedway, one of my favorite tracks!!! And it's hard to say about Jimmie Johnson. He is the defending champion of this race, and he won 5 races here between 2003 and 2006, but since it isn't Lowe's Motor Speedway anymore, it's no longer his home track!!! And when he went there for the All-Star race and the 600, he wrecked in both of them this year!!! Also, since 2007, that win last year was his only top 5. But it is the chase, and he is Jimmie Johnson, so it's hard not to pick him. Kasey has been good here for a few years, but RPM isn't giving him the good equipment since he's leaving, they're giving it to A.J. Almendinger apparently. Matt Kenseth got his first win here and is usually pretty good at Charlotte, but he isn't really having any momentum. And Carl Edwards is an absolute disaster at this place. So I'm going to throw down the gauntlet and say:
1) Jeff Gordon
2) Matt Kenseth
3) Joey Logano
6 Chevrolets, 1 Ford, 2 Toyotas, and a Dodge in the top 10

I think Johnson is gonna have some bad luck this week. Wreck collateral damage or something.
Stewart is bringing the same car/setup that he had in his winning run last week. He isn't sitting well on the start, but then again, he wasn't last week either.
I think Stewart will make top 3, Johnson will be from 10-15.

Martin is alive again! Last week he displayed dominance, even though he came up short of the win. He's faster in qualifying and practice this week - he's back! This week he'll win. AJ is still overdue. And unlike last year, I've rolled behind the unstoppable Jimmie. I'm hoping he actually wins the championship now. I just hate to see a streak get broken and I've accepted that this is Jimmie era. At least he's Chev/Hendricks. I'm hoping and expecting a good showing from Junior this week too.
1. Mark Martin
2. Jimmie Johnson
3. AJ
last: the other JJ
first caution: Peblo
# of cautions: 8

besides that: I'm gonna quite watching next year, I'm getting a little frustrated with the same old same old winning the championship

Duane, changed back....It wasn't getting any hits & Nascar & Date was put in2 thread to get attention & more member's to notice and post...
I hope this is the only problem in life that you encounter.
I did not get to listen to the race, and I just checked to see who won...
Congrat's to McMurray for the win...
Joey got 7th, and I guessed that Jimmy J. would get 3rd : )
Dale Jr again did not do 2 good : ( I was hoping

Hahaha, sorry for upsetting you guys! I couldn't find the thread because I knew the title and was like "WHERE DID IT GO?!?!?!" before I realized the title was changed.
Looks like Jimmie is in good shape to win #5 though. There is still that lingering last hope in Talladega, I guess. The unofficial stands have Jimmie Johnson 41 ahead of Denny Hamlin and 77 ahead of Kevin Harvick. Jeff Gordon is 4th, 156 back now. It's a 3 man race now.
