Someone is going to replace Hornish. Probably Buescher or maybe David Ragan

Wow, Blaney actually got to qualify! Amazing what happens when it doesn't rain! I'll be working 5-130 Saturday so I may end up falling asleep during the Cup race.

Crap, forgot to post the "entertainment cautions" bit I think...

Christ, it's 500 miles around a 1.5 mile track.

At least 4 entertainment cautions.

How many of you guys would put white wall tires on my torino? They originally came with 3/8th bias ply tires. Reproduction of these, are well over 1000 a set and they don't last long if you drive the car like I do. I have 24000 miles in 6 years.

Hankook makes a white wall but it's just shy of 5/8ths inch white wall. I can get 5 of them mounted and balances for just under 500 bucks.

More than likely, I won't even worry about it looking "era correct" when I buy tires for my 78 Camaro. In fact, I likely won't even use factory size rims (most Camaros came with 15" rims by then). Once I have the transmission in, I'll probably drive it to work most days when it's not winter or obscenely hot outside. Of course, my drivetrain is 20 years newer than the car itself. Both out of a 98 3/4 ton pickup.

I still like the RWL more than whitewalls
