A ton of drama. I think it was just good hard racing. Watch it with like five or six to go when Denny and Kyle and Joey battle for the lead. If you pay close attention you will see that Joey never touched Denny it looks like Denny just got loose under Kyle. As far as the whole last lap deal goes Joey refused to lose after the comments Denny made about him at Bristol. I think Joey went into three knowing he might lose and that he wasn't afraid to use Denny up in the attempt to keep him at bay. You see Logano get loose under Denny and that's cause he drove in so deep that he couldn't help but walk up the racetrack. Had that whole deal at Bristol not gone down Joey probably wouldn't have drove it in quite as deep. Give Joey credit though he could have lifted when it happened but he didn't just two guys going hard for a win. Good for the sport. But Tony Stewart is an idiot met the guy before after a race and all he did was tell me get the f out of his way. But come on can Tony really talk? What about when he drove Kenseth into the grass in the 06 Daytona 500 in front of the whole field or last year at Dega when he blocked Waltrip and took out the whole field not to mention the countless other stunts he has pulled. He's just mad Joey did what any good driver does on the last restart. But lets not forget the most important thing... Jr is P1 in the standings baby!!!

Stewart is a bit washy on the whole subject.... I just don't think Logano is the golden boy everyone thinks he is.

These guys don't appreciate the danger this sport gives. Earnhardt died in a fairly similar type coliison to what Hamlin took. Of course, we can't see for sure whether 15 years ago this accident woudl have sent someone to the hospital, becuase Hamlin is known to have a bad back anyway. Hamlin was hospitalized because of his back pain anyway this time. Remember when Hamlin didn't even practice his car in Daytona in July last year?

But that isn't really the point you bring up. The point in the past post was that Stewart is a chump (summarized). Stewart has always been a *****, there is no doubt about that. He may have had to work to get to where he is now, but he feels he is every bit as entitled as Logano may or may not think he is.

We've got to pay attention to this Logano character though.... and I'd like to shift some focus to him. How many people has Logano talked trash about? He had an accident with Newman at Michigan one year and ruffled feathers. He made fun of Kevin Harvick at Pocono and claimed Delana wore the firesuit. Then he gets into it with Denny Hamlin on this elementary school drama crap on Twitter after the Daytona 500 this year, nearly kills the guy at California, NOW he has Tony Stewart pissed with him.

What are the odds of Joey Logano even finishing Martinsville right now?

I'd say:
Logano doesn't have a snow ***** change in he dbl hockey sticks of finishing at Martinsville.

I'm sure he didn't intentionally wanna wreck Hamlin...but, last lap of the finish..
I'm not to sure that I wouldn't have gone for it like he did.... Stewart he was way off base..
That's racing! What a idiot... I guess the bully(Stewart) Didn't like getting bullied?

Unhappy

Thanks for the heads up post on Hamlin.
Since he knowingly had a back issue.IMO it was inevitable that he'd re injured it.
Could possible cost him his career. In the long run.

If this does put Hamlin out for a couple of weeks, I wonder if a fair way of handling this, since Joey admitted he knew what he was doing and was pretty unrepentant, would be to sideline Logano and tell him he can't come to a race track again until Denny Hamlin can.

I doubt Nascar would do that...They said Have at it and what precedent would that set. No driver would seriously race another for fear of wrecking and being sidelined. I have seen way more intentional stuff than that. Heck I did the same thing to a guy at our local track. But official really let me have it good but I got the win

The difference though, Jerry, is did you put your guy into a wall at 150+ mph? Did you have a standing and known feud prior to wrecking him? And did you act like a bunch of 9 year old's on Twitter for a month prior to the crash?
