I don'tk now. Stremme was never all that great. Eury Jr didn't have much success with Dale Jr (remember, Eury Sr had all the scucess with Dale), and Eury didn't do too well with Danica either. We'll just have to see. Not being with an establsihed top notch team is going to have to deal them a hit too. I believe this is a Nationwide deal? I say 17th in points with 4 top 10s, possibly a restricter plate top 5 or even a restricter plate win.

Eury Jr. to serve as Stremme's crew chief
By Team Release
December 10, 2012 1:10 PM, EST

Tony Eury Jr. has been hired as the crew chief for the No. 30 Toyota driven by David Stremme for the 2013 season, Swan Racing announced Monday. The move comes days after the new team, owned by Brandon Davis, was announced.

"We have a long-term vision for Swan Racing, and the addition of Tony Jr. is another step in that process. Tony brings a world of experience to Swan Racing and will be part of our long-term success," Davis said.

"I am really impressed with the team Swan Racing is building, and I am proud to be part of it," Eury said. "I am looking forward to working with David Stremme behind the wheel and with competition director Steve Hmiel."

Eury began his NASCAR career in 1991 when he was hired to work for Dale Earnhardt Inc. He has been a part of 19 Sprint Cup victories with Michael Waltrip and Dale Earnhardt Jr., including twice winning the Budweiser Shootout in 2003 and 2008. In 2006, Earnhardt qualified for the Chase for the Sprint Cup and finished fifth in points with Eury as his crew chief. Most recently, Eury was Danica Patrick's crew chief/co-owner for JR Motorsports in the Nationwide Series. The team won the pole for the February Daytona race.

"Tony Jr. has pretty much done it all, from tire changer to crew chief. His experience and knowledge will be pivotal to the success of Swan Racing," Hmiel said.

Stremme added, "The team has transformed itself virtually overnight. It's hard to believe just how different this team is in such a short period of time. This is how you build success from the ground up; you hire quality people, put their experience to work and execute on race day. Let's go racing."

Never heard of "SWAN" Racing ??????

If being danicas crew cheif(eury jr) is an indication of how his seasons going to go...

I think its going to be a start and park effort!
If they even qualify for any races!!!

i don`t understand the "start and park". if they continually start and park and theres no wreck, a 43rd position is all they`d get. does nascar pay very much money for that position? somebody better have deep pockets. Seems that sponsorship would be hard to get. heres another thought; i`d like to see bowyer blacken and put some swelling in jeff gordon`s eye.

Oh yeah, I think Furniture Row started as a start and park organization. As long as you qualify, you're doing alright as far as the money goes. Othewrise, that $250,000 entry fee was a waste.
