THE BIG STORY
Ford won for the first time this Sprint Cup season with Greg Biffle's victory in Sunday's Pennsylvania 500 at Pocono International Raceway. Biffle, who restarted on the front row by taking only two new tires on his last pit stop, passed Sam Hornish Jr. with 21 laps to go and cruised to his first win since 2008. Tony Stewart, Carl Edwards, Kevin Harvick and Denny Hamlin completed the top five. Hornish finished 11th. Harvick is 189 points ahead of Jeff Gordon (sixth).

NASCAR Sprint Cup Series
Tony Stewart won the pole Friday at Pocono with a 171.393 mph lap. After a 35-minute rain delay, Stewart led the first two laps, then Jeff Gordon went ahead. There was a competition yellow after 15 laps. That was the first time Greg Biffle got just new right-side tires and restarted in front. Gordon, then Jimmie Johnson, led. There were three straight fuel runs that resulted in green-flag pit stops. Gordon passed Johnson for first place in lap 121 and, moments later, a yellow came out because of debris. Biffle, again taking a two-tire approach, came out in the lead. Gordon, then Denny Hamlin, ran in front. There was another debris yellow. The restart came with 50 laps left. Within three laps, Gordon regained the lead. Dale Earnhardt Jr. spun to create a caution. The leaders stayed out. With 36 laps to go, Johnson bump-drafted Kurt Busch into a crash that involved Clint Bowyer. Busch went down into the grass and hit the inside guard rail. Elliott Sadler was hit from behind and impacted the infield guard rail almost head-on and the engine was completely torn-out of his Ford. Sadler was sore but said he was OK. The red flag was displayed for about 30 minutes and it rained while track crews removed the wrecked cars and repaired the guard rail. When the pits opened, Biffle, Stewart and Carl Edwards were among those who changed only outside tires. Gordon came in as the leader but restarted in 11th place after a four-tire change. Sam Hornish didn't pit and was the leader under several rain-slowed laps and then another brief red. Biffle quickly went by on the restart. He won by 3.5 seconds and averaged 132.246 mph after 200 laps with five yellows for 31 laps.

NASCAR Nationwide Series
Kyle Busch took four new tires on a late pit stop and cruised by Kevin Harvick, who got just two new tires, with 25 laps to go and won Saturday night's U.S. Cellular 250 at Iowa Speedway. The margin-of-victory was two seconds. Jason Leffler was third. There were two red flags and six yellows for 27 of the 250 laps. Busch averaged 104.222 mph for his ninth victory of the season. Brad Keselowski (fourth) is 231 points ahead of Carl Edwards (10th).
NASCAR Camping World Truck Series
It took two green-white-checker tries and five extra laps but Elliott Sadler won Saturday's Pocono Mountains 125, the series debut at the track. Sadler now has won in all three of NASCAR's top series. Driving a Kevin Harvick-owned Chevrolet, Sadler started on the pole and finished .445 second ahead of Kasey Kahne in the No. 18 Toyota. Matt Crafton was third. Sadler averaged 111.966 mph after 55 laps. There were six yellows for 18 laps. Todd Bodine (12th) is 149 points up on Aric Almirola (fourth).
Formula One
Mark Webber won Sunday's Hungarian Grand Prix in Budapest and took the world championship lead. Webber's Red Bull-Renault finished an easy 17.8 seconds ahead of Ferrari's Fernando Alonso. Poleman Sebastian Vettel was third. Vettel was penalized with a drive-through penalty on lap 32 of 70 for falling more than 10 lengths behind the car in front of him. Webber took the lead when Vettel and Alonso pitted and built enough of an advantage to maintain the top spot even after his pit stop to change tires. Webber, with four wins, is four points ahead of Lewis Hamilton (DNF).
Racer of the Week
Greg Erwin. Greg Biffle's crew chief called for three two-tire pit stops to get the win at Pocono.
Yes, He REALLY Said That
Tony Stewart, on drivers policing each other on the track. "Now, all of the sudden, the media is making such a big drama about it that now they're forcing NASCAR into their hands again and I don't want the media to dictate how we drive our race cars, but unfortunately, that's what it's coming down to and that's scaring me."
Valvoline Winners Last Weekend
Greg Biffle, NASCAR Sprint Cup series, Pocono.

This Weekend
NASCAR road races at Watkins Glen, with Saturday Nationwide and Sunday Cup. The Trucks run Saturday at Nashville. Indy Cars turn at Mid-Ohio with ALMS. Grand-Am is at the Glen.
