Doesn't Jr have another 3 years with Hendrick? They signed a 5 year contract (I thought anyway).

Move to Cup unlikely for JR Motorsports:

You can't cross JR Motorsports totally off of Brad Keselowski's list for a fulltime Sprint Cup ride in 2010, but it doesn't seem likely. Dale Earnhardt Jr., who co-owns JR Motorsports with Rick Hendrick, said on Friday it would be "quite a challenge for anybody to find the kind of financial support you need" to make the move from the Nationwide Series to Cup. He also talked more of Keselowski, who drives the JR Motorsports Nationwide car, as though he would be somewhere else after this season and how he looked forward to preparing another driver for the Cup series. "The way I see it Brad has a ton of opportunities and the doors are wide open for him,'' Earnhardt said. "We have to look at what our chances are for moving into the Cup series before we can put that before Brad."

IMO, JR Motorspors is neither here nor there, doesn't really matter either way. Brad is going to run in the Cup series sooner or later full time, with or without JR.

Danica will NOT survive NASCAR, and the IRL will not survive without her. It's all ready a poorly run motorsports operation. All cars identical, along with the same Honda engines. What's the point?

BOTH Indy cars and NASCAR needs to go back to their roots. "Run what ya brung!" Stop with the cookie cutter cars. Put a budget cap if need be, but spice it up. People don't want to see a bunch of Hondas running around the track. I can go to the local go-kart track and see that. Don't get me wrong, we LUV Indy cars, but it can get boring, like Cup racing has become.
