I think his community service should have to be related to that town somehow also I think he should face some discipline from nascar due to the fact he is a role model and a lot of kids look up to him. No racing for 45 days sounds good to me LOL. seriously tho some type of punishment.

To everyone saying he got what he deserved.... keep in mind, I had just about the same offense 3 years ago in the same state, and got off with less. Did I get what I deserved?

I'm pretty sure we've all been young and stupid... I still am! I really believe he just had a lapse of judgment... just like I did.

 

i believe he got what he deserved considering it was so close to a day care and church, i could understand him getting what he did if it was on a highway at night with noone around. but that was just dumb on his part.

 

and duane were you in your monte? bc if you were that might be why they let you off so easy lol. they were admiring the ss :p

 

I was in the Monte on I believe a Wednesday evening around 6:30 in May. Speed limit was 55, rural area, 4 lane divided highway. I was near a rural airport, sparse homes, and I think a small church. No schools and if there were, they were not in session. It sounds weird to say not much around when I was 2 miles from college, but you'd have to go to Campbell to understand... there's nothing, there's a shcool of 4000, there's nothing again... hehe.
