So here's a question,

If someone who is not an admin/mod here, gathered the 12 pics and made a cover, would that be ok?

Would they be allowed to put a post up here selling said calendar, or would that be an issue?

Also if said calendar was made, would it be ok to put www.montecarloforum.com on the cover?

OK maybe more then one question. I am not trying to stir the pot, or make a big deal about it, cause it's really not as stated, just curius that's all.

Joe
Here's the problem I ran into. Well, one of them anyway.

Membercalendars.com has paid for exclusive calendar rights on MCF, and the rest of Internet Brands (the owners of MCF) automotive forums. That means that no other calendars can be offered for sale on MCF. And no other calendars can legally contain the forum's name or logo. But if you want to print out a calendar of your own for your own personal use, knock yourself out. Nobody is gonna show up at your house and rip it off your wall.

I just want to say that membercalendars is not some horrible company. Adam and Gene are two really great guys. They had no knowledge of our MOTM calendar when they sponsored our forum. Nobody intentionally "killed" the MOTM calendar. So people, please stop trying to make a huge issue out of this. It is just a calendar after all.

The membercalendars.com 2011 Monte Carlo calendar isn't the MOTM calendar we were all expecting. But it is filled with 13 great Montes all owned by MCF members. Including Montelicious Lisa's. And don't forget, you the MCF members voted those 13 cars into the calendar also!

I have high hopes for the 2012 calendar. And look forward to working with Adam & Gene. So everyone please just relax. Be happy for our winners this month.

If anyone has anymore questions regarding the MOTM calendars, please PM or email me. I'll be glad to discuss it in private.

If you have any questions about the membercalendars.com 2011 Monte Carlo calendar, or would like to purchase one, log onto www.membercalendars.com

Then can they possibly also make our 2011 MOTM calendar for us with the 2010 winners and put them up for sale too? I am sure ALOT would buy them on here. We do have 13 cars since me and Mike were a tie. Just a suggestion/idea. Just asking, no biggie.

Being December 3rd, starting fresh on another calendar, it's unlikely.

The 2011 MOTM calendar isn't happening people. I'm truely sorry to all those 2010 winners who won't be in it. But that's the way it needs to be.

Please stop rubbing salt in people's wounds by constantly bringing this up. Just let it go.

Simply put in one word.."No".

They are only interested in selling one calender and one calender only...their own. Like Taz said, if you want a calender then grab a bunch of pictures and make your own. That's the only way you can have a calender other than the "OFFICIAL" one.

Gotcha guys, thank you for answering my questions, as stated there is a great calendar avalaible through membercalendars and if a person's monte didn't make it in this year, they can always give it a try next year!

Once again congrats to the winners Mike & Lisa!

I agree with Taz, after all, it is a calendar. And to keep a forum like MCF running, it is all about sponsors. Last I knew, we still had the certificates going to the winners (that I think rocks). Perhaps there should be a post then with a ZIP file containing one sweet image of each winner's car.... Nothing fancy, just something perhaps members can take and do whatever with (like add to a digital frame or something).

I still think making MOTM is a great title to be had, period. Your peers nominated/voted for you and I think that says something.
