That is at the bottom of my screen right now, time is correct here for east coast time, don't know what GMT is. So like around 40 minutes left?

GMT stands for Greenwich Mean Time. It's the constant that the world is based on, and never changes.

Time Zones are based on GMT, and subtract to make the time that we want. EST is -5, and EDT (when we are in daylight saving) is -4. So Greenwich Mean currently is 2PM, and our local time is -4 hours from GMT. In the winter we are -5 hours of GMT.
