It's quite rare, yet it does happen all the same! The top 2 votees for the August MotM ended up in a tie!!!

As a staff, a few months ago we had decided to institute a new rule for ties, because we didn't want someone to have to share their month in the calendar, and we stated that in the event of a tie, we shall hold a 1-day sudden death tie breaker!

The 2 cars in this tie-breaker, are the Black Rose, Lisa's beautiful 2004 Monte Carlo SS, and my CSC Powered 2000 Monte Carlo SS, The BlackSheep.

Yes, it comes out to be Eastern time.

I think the forum software is smart enough to use your current time zone when logged and display, but I'm not 100% on that haha.

The closing time displayed in the poll is for the time zone you have set in your account's settings. So be sure you have the correct time zone set in your user control panel.

 

It was a Hard choice, both Montes are Excellent examples of how to mod, maintain and Show a Monte. Both owners are excellent members, and great contributors to the site. They both deserve MOTM and MOTY.
