I have an 84 monte. I replaced my headlight switch & found this brown wire that is plugged into my headlight switch.....This large plug in pic 1 is where the turn signal switch assembly plugs in under the dash. Can anyone tell me what the Orange/Black wire is ? That brown wire next to it is the one ran to my headlight switch? Why, what does it do ? That brown wire isn't shown in any diagram that I've found. The 3rd pic shows where the brown wire is connected into the headlight switch plug.
