Is this headlight switch pic causing low beams not to work??

Default Is this headlight switch pic causing low beams not to work??

Hello all.... Question my low beams went out at the same time on my 00' monte carlo, I pulled the headlight switch off and took some pictures.All my other lights are fine. One of the pins is burn't... I just wanna make sure thats what it is causing it because that switch is over $100.. Any help is greatly appreciated, thanx

You can get the switch for less off Ebay if you still need it. Just type "Monte Carlo headlight swtich"

That would do it. I would also make sure your headlight sockets are not melted too because something caused the switch to melt and its usually a bad connection somewhere or something drawing too much. Just don't want you to have it happen again.

I'm not sure if its possible or if it will help, but did you try to clean it with some electrical contact spray?
