I've been asked to help a friend fix his wiper problem. He has an '88 Monte Carlo SS. He replaced his wiper motor some what recently and now the intermitant has gone south. The first speed the wipers start on is low, and after you turn them on the only way to shut them off is to shut off the car completely. I'm pretty sure his wiper switch is shot.

My questions are, How hard is it to replace? And where should I go for the parts?

I was a VW dealer mechanic for a few years but those cars are pretty much different than most other cars. But It does leave me with some know how.
