For some reason, after I had my 71 Monte Carlo rebuilt, I went to put on my wipers and noticed that I had to mover the switch to the center position to make them work. Then I had to put the switch all the way to the right to make them stop. It seems to me before the rebuilt it was just the opposite, the center position was the off position and all the way to the right was putting the wiper on and all the way to the left was the washer. I tired crossing the wire thinking they may of mixed them up when they rebuilt it. No change. Can anyone help.

 

Hmm sounds like it would make more sense the way it is right now. Maybe it was wired incorrectly prior to the rebuild
