Default Wheel switch from the 2006 monte carlo Lt to a SS

I own the 2006 LT,,pics on my profile,,
its really starting to fall apart and im done fixing it, i can do it but my heart is not into it,,i recently got a deal on 2 sets of tires,1 for summer and the other winter tires and new rims,,in all over 2000$ invested,,,now my problem ,,a 2006 monte carlo SS is up for sale at half its price from a few months ago,,8 995$,,i am going tomorow to appraise a trade in,,,the salesman told me i can switch my 16inch rims/tires ,,were as the dealership mechanic told me i am better off leaving them as the SS comes with 18inch and of course bigger brakes,,,would the steering be a big issue?
thanks for any help,,im already switching my magnaflows over to the SS cause it has my QTP exhaust cutout on them, and their shiney

Hi `Andrew,
If you do trade for the 06 S.S., I would keep the 18 inch rims on the S.S. (It was set up & tuned for 18's) I suggest selling your extra 16 inch tires or making a better deal with the dealer...

Good Luck & let us know what you decide
