theres a youtube video of a guy with a new monte 5.3 ss that has a turbo in it and he does 11.4 seconds i believe at like 137 mph or somthing close...im asumming thats the best way to build your monte...that projects comming for my monte just after about 3 years of saving up for it lol

 

only problem with that is you gotta build the trans up too and that is alot of money to sink into a car. 5-6k for the turbo kit and he has alot of other mods. then throw the trans build on top of that

 

Gotta spend money to go fast lol, & yes turbo is the best way to make hp been thinking twins on gto but idk lol

 

ik a kid with a newer GTO 6.0 twin turbo...the thing beat my friends 600hp lightning on a 50 roll. from a dead stop the lightning would have smoked it. anything can be done

 

If i had a gto i would put the money down but with my monte i dont see it being worth all that money. it would be awesome but too much of a hassle on a Fwd car that already spins the tires like crazy with the few mods i do have...if it was Rwd it would be a different story tho

 

camshaft ,,compcams ``thumper cam``,,then headers, find the nascar mufflers that go under the driver saw them on ebay for 200$..then your car will sound intense
