What happened to all the threads?
So you're thinking to yourself, "This section used to have tons of threads. What the f@&* happened to them all?"
Long story short: This section is currently being re-built.

This section had 11 pages of threads dating all the way back to when Monte Carlo Forum started almost 6 years ago.
Over the years, this section was largely ignored and abused. Actual Do-It-Yourself How-To threads got buried in a mix of threads that didn't belong in this section.
Some threads from our old forum contain out dated links, and/or pictures that were lost when we moved to the new forum.
Also, the virus attack on our old server in 2008 ruined a lot of the longer, more detailed, How-To's.
This section is long over-due for cleaning up and organizing of the threads in it.
What's this mean for the threads that used to be in here?
The threads that you are able to view are going to remain in this section. I've already sorted through those.
The rest of the threads need to be gone through and sorted out accordingly.
Threads that don't belong in this section will be moved to the appropriate section.
Threads that are damaged, missing info, missing pictures, or contain broken links, I will attempt to repair. If a thread is missing too much important info, it will have to be deleted unfortunately.
Over the past few days I've spent many hours sorting through 6 of the 11 pages of threads. Some of the threads are now available in this section (including the generations sub-sections).
Most of the threads have been moved to their appropriate section elsewhere on the site.
Some threads were beyond repair, and unfortunately had to be deleted. So if you typed up a Do-it-yourself How-To, and it's gone now, you know why.
There are still about 5 pages of threads I need to sort through. So there will be some more threads returning to this section. How many depends on how many of them are salvageable.
In the meantime, if you have a good, step-by-step, Do-It-Yourself "How To". I invite you to type it up and share it with the forum.
New threads submitted to this section go for moderator approval before they appear to the public. This is simply so the section doesn't get cluttered up again. Once your thread is approved, the staff will put it in the appropriate generation's sub-section. Or in this main area if it covers more than one generation.
Thanks for your patience!
Lou
