lol, i was gonna ask that as soon as i seen the name of the thread just as a joke, lol, but you already put it.

sometimes they are a little difficult to get off, we get people bringing broken ones in here quiete often, so it does happen.

now do you get your oil changed @ a shop? if so just have them take it off to test the fluid and do a temp check, then if it breaks, they're responsible

It's difficult but it will come off. You have to reallllllly push down and turn. You can actually see the rim on the cap and the plastic that it needs to go over if you look.

Default yep ..

I see where it has to go down further..just afraid of pushin down to hard and creating a problem i dont have now..everything there looks cheap and easy to break..guess ill skip draining radiator and refilling..Resevoir was a bit rusty though and nothing in it..just added some premixed prestone

Oh ps..any shop that breaks it will just pass it off as job hazard..not fair to know this exists and blame someone else.

I used to be afraid, but conquered that fear quickly.

If your coolant overflow looked a bit rusty, and was low, then I say you should try harder to get the cap off, and do a coolant flush. Sounds like its long over due! By ignoring it, you may also create problems that you may not already have.
