500 BUCKS FOR A HUB ASSEMBLY!!! who's ripping you off...i sell them for 190 cdn...so i would imagine they're cheaper american...and they're really easy to install...just 1 big nut infront, and 3 smaller ones on it gotta come off..then it just slides on

i've seen hubs go @ less than 10000 miles for a factory delco unit...they're not the greatest things...gm has a few problem area's on their cars direct from the factory, one being the 3.4 and 3.1 l intake manifold gasekets...the other being the front hubs on these cars' i sell about 4 of these a week @ my work...they are very common..but they also fit almost every gm car from 2000-2005, and the montana's and the rondevouz and the aztec...but still sell a lot of these
so in short...yes...it could be going @ 73,000 miles...if you think about it..most people drive 25,000 miles a year...so 3 years out of a factory hub isn't too bad...but if you go with an skf one you'll have that on there as long you own the car

I don't think I got ripped. Unless it was on the labor, thats always expensive. It cost me $180 per assembly for each side. I did note that both sides on my car went out at the same time. Then labor was about $70 per side. Thats right at $500.
