Default using a 3.8L fuel pump assembly on a DOHC 3.4L engine.

Hey, I'm trying to sell my 1995 Monte Carlo Z34, but the fuel pump is starting to go out (low Fuel Pressure at the shrader, rough running, brand new fuel filter + fuel gauge acting up) and I don't want to sell it as is because that would drastically reduce the price. My dad has a 3.8L fuel pump from his 98 Z34, it still works, he just changed it out since he did an L67 swap. Will the 3.8L fuel pump work for the 3.4L DOHC engine, even though it seems to be a different part number, or are the fuel pressure values wrong?

Does your Dads pump fit into your tank and have the same wiring hook up ? There will be no difference in fuel pump pressure between the 2 .Both engines require the same amount of pressure to run the fuel injection. Herman

Yeah, the fuel tank itself is the same, and the wiring connector is the same. We'll try to get it swapped out at some point soon when we have garage space, thanks for the answer!
