If this is just a regular factory style replacement UIM, should be nothing to it. Pretty straight forward. Is there something unique about this or modified?

Yea its very simply.. Ive had mine tore down for a couple days now and its 100X easier than I thought it would be..

Alternator comes out, unplug few things like injectors, remove fuel rails... Check out youtube. Many videos on how to do it..

I saw the install vids as well. I'm meant the actual assembly of it. If I recall correctly there's a spring (maybe? It's been awhile since I looked at it) & a few other pieces as well. Don't wanna put a wrong piece in the wrong place or backward &'upside down. It is an OEM type. Nothing overly fancy about it. Thanks

The only spring is for pcv valve and map sensor. There is also a o-ring for it. There is a twist lock piece on top of that assembly. The only other piece is the insert that is in the uim. Just rip your old one apart and you will see how it goes together.
