Default U-bend delete

I want to do delete the U-bend on my '00 SS, but it would help if I knew the dimensions of the replacement piece so I can just get a piece made at the exhaust shop. Has anyone here done it? What diameter of pipe should I use, and how long should it be? One end looks like it has to be bigger, so how far does that end have to be stretched out? Also, it looks like a piece has to be welded on the side to plug in the O2 sensor, so what are the dimensions of that piece? Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.

2.5 inch diameter tube. You might just want to goto clubgp and get a used downpipe as it will have the ubend delete already in it and offer more performance upgrades.
